Criminal justice cadets stay busy in December

Stratford criminal justice corps students presented an executive briefing to MNPS High School Principals regarding the global war on terror, with a specific emphasis on the Boston Marathon bombing incident, investigation, and ongoing judicial process.

Stratford criminal justice corps students were invited by Mr. Brian Grisham, Director of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, on a VIP Tour of this prestigious facility.  Director Grisham allowed the cadets to view ongoing training in legal, professional integrity, career  development, arrest protocol, and pursuit driving. The cadets experienced the demands of high speed pursuit driving in the academy computer driving simulator and discovered that driving a police car demands quick reflexes and immediate decision making. Thanks to Director Grisham, the cadets experienced a unique opportunity to participate in the real world of law enforcement training.
